I bought this starter set for my 6 year old daughter. She's learning machine sewing and I'm making a little kit for her. Some of these parts are poorly made and did not live up to my expectations. I've been sewing for over 30 years. Pros: My daughter's favorite color is pink. That's why I bought this set. For my budget, buying this whole set was better than buying individual pieces separately.1. Pink tape measure is perfect.2. The sewing sensor works as expected and is pink! 3. Needles, a good first pack for beginners. Cons: 1. Scissors are poorly made and have cheap plastic handles. They are very light and not heavy at all and durable.2. The pink tomato is not your grandmother's tomato. Very disappointed. It is also extremely small in size. There is a crunch of plastic when it is pushed in.3. Seam ripper made out of thin and cheap plastic. I used it once and it almost broke. I have felt it flex during use. Not a professional seam ripper.4. The bag with the supplies arrived stained.
