I used this with a Dell S2316M. I have it standing upright next to a VESA mount monitor and can't tell the difference in strength between the two. It's quite heavy for its size, making it quite durable. Installation was really intuitive but Youtube has guides if you need help. I appreciate products that give a new use to a relatively expensive item without detracting from its original use, and this is absolutely one of them. I verified that the original Dell stand can still be reinstalled just to test it and it works the same as before. Great little mount, cheaper than other brands using the same models, actually the cheapest I've seen. While I can't compare it to other brands, it's pretty darn solid for the price. No complaints!
