We renovated the house ourselves and decided to buy a laser level. We also have an outdoor design company and have experience with tools, levels and outdoor construction. By the way, I was not promised anything, not offered and not even asked to watch this level. This is just my personal opinion. We kick ourselves for not buying it sooner. If you don't know much about laser levels and you are going to use them indoors, just buy this one. Stop looking and reading reviews and buying. If you want to replace one, take this one. It works better than the expensive ones that some friends brought to help us with our projects. We've used it to hang cabinets, install tile, install drywall, and install an exterior door. WE LOVE IT. That's for sure, it's very noticeable indoors during the day. And while I didn't use it outdoors, a family member borrowed it to work on his patio and said it worked for her. Go ahead and buy a basic Amazon camera tripod if you're buying this level. Make sure you have a telescope big enough if using it to make a crown or carpentry. We did that and it works really great. This is my second favorite instrument that we now own. Oh, and if you don't know how to use a laser level there are no real instructions but you can just google some basic laser level videos and get the hang of it quickly. . It will be worth it when you do it! Oh, and the case is great, but we haven't stopped using it in the last two weeks, ever really putting it down. But my husband has a thing for toolboxes and he's "ooo-ed" and "aaa-ed" about it. The fact that you can charge it while using it also helped us!
