The first was sent, the network adapter did not work. It appears to be either a refurbishment or simply abuse by a Chinese sweatshop that these items come from (see photo of received item showing dents and scratches on the plastic case). The cable is stiff and of poor quality, less than 3 feet long instead of the advertised 4 feet. The replacement works - it charges, but not very quickly (about the same speed as normal charging). The wall adapter gets quite hot so I'm not sure how long it will last with normal use. The replacement cable is still the same stiff and cheap quality, but is at least 45 inches long (still less than the advertised 4 feet, but 10 inches longer than the original). Cheap junk, will return both and ask for a refund.
