I bought this to avoid damaging some of the 12" x 18" targets on the back of the car. It does the trick well. It's a pretty good size; probably a little more than I need. The quality of the bag is mediocre; You get what you pay for here. This is a thin polyester bag. If I had to protect loose art I wouldn't buy it as it really isn't up to the task. For things like sketchpads or other illustrations, that should be enough. As I mentioned before, I had to protect the paper targets we use for shooting. Usually 12" x 18" (I buy these from Revain; targets for EZ2C and Splatterburst profiles). I like to leave them in the back of the car so they're always with us when we go to the shooting range. Needless to say, adding anything else defeats the purpose. Now I can keep them safe and sound, and I even have a case to take to the shooting range (instead of just taking a pair to carry separately).
