Review on Lowepro Photo Hatchback BP 150 AW πŸ“· II Camera Backpack: The Ultimate Travel Companion for Photographers by Sandy Pierce

Lightweight but with limited space for lenses

I use this bag for filming and traveling. It has enough room to just about fit a Sony a7R III at 24-70 gm, although with this it's absolutely limited. A telephoto lens reflex camera may not be suitable. In terms of space, it is better suited for APS-C format cameras. With a full-frame camera and lens in your bag, there is almost no room in the main compartment for other lenses. You can mount a regular-size full-frame lens, but hardly. Otherwise, as usual, Lowepro did a good job on materials, construction, layout and weight distribution. This is quite comfortable on long shoots, although the padding material doesn't breathe well compared to looser meshes. Expect to get a little hot on set in warm weather. Overall, this is a definite improvement over the cheaper Case Logic cases I started out with. Just make sure you need more space in your bag.

Pros
  • Ideal for me
Cons
  • For seniors
