Bought for a kindergarten child's virtual school year. They love it and could easily use it after getting their bearings from it. I installed the PBS Kids video and game apps on it for use outside of class. The Chromebook operating system is simple and fast. I can control installs and usage through Google's Family Link app. However! After 2 months the top row of buttons stopped working unless I physically bent/flexed the device and would stop working again soon after. I did some basic bug fixes. flush, reset, reinstall, grind - nothing has changed. Obviously a hardware problem. Still under warranty I sent it back to HP where they did nothing for two months until I started calling them weekly to reiterate the importance of returning the unit. I think the software works as intended, but it's a cheap device and the hardware is poorly built. Beware.
