Review on Emeril Lagasse Piece Reversible Carving by Heather Johnson

I love all the items I've bought from Emeril Lagasse. So when I saw this set I was glad I needed all 3 items. The cutting board and fork are still good. This knife is so badly made it's made up of bad products because I hand washed this knife like all my good sharp knives and yet it broke off although it has never been dropped and it looks like it will loosen metal from handle. The knife is actually very good. Heavy but not so heavy that it's difficult to use, and cut nicely the first 2-3 times but the last time was like using a butter knife on meat. I treated this knife the same as my Cuisinart knives and none of the 10 knives of theirs did, and even the cheap paring knives I made did. Except we have older knives and newer ones with them, and we treat them all the same...like in the same soap, in the same water from the same sink. Same kitchen towels and all!
