Review on Adjustable Tube Mount for Hi-Lift Jack TM-700, Fits 1-2 Inch Diameter by Phil Morales

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Came with grooves, but who cares? They hold up

One had grooves but everything I've scratched over time so can't say I care if it does work does not disturb. Speaking of function, they feel durable and roll tight. I've resisted the urge to crank them with all my might, but the urge is there and I've probably checked them 4 times already. To my surprise, I decided to use them to mount the jack on the front bumper (rather than the pillar). as originally planned). At the bumper I can easily place the jack on the brackets at a 45 degree angle and leave it to gravity while I insert the lock washers and crank bolts or if I really need it and I'm already frustrated, remove the jack easily. One thing that worries me (and is actually more of a concern for me) is that lock washers scare me. I prefer nylon insert locknuts. These mounts come with the first ones that attach the hinges to the stem and most of the mobile world is held together by lock washers so I don't know what my problem is.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
