Had to give these 3 stars because the fit is awful. The leather is soft and supple and the chaps themselves are very nice, but they're huge in the calf area. The picture is deceiving because it appears they're tapered a little bit, but they are straight legged. When I put them on they were way too big (I could have fit both my calves in one side), so I had to return them. If you don't want bulky chaps from the knees down, and want something that hugs your calves don't buy these.
