Haven't had enough time to test it thoroughly, but so far it looks pretty good. The bars I mounted it on are quite wide so I was worried it wouldn't fit, but it comes with two different screw sizes and the hinge clamp can be adjusted in two different places to accommodate narrow or wide bars to accommodate, allowing you to rig a pretty good range of rod sizes. My only concern is that the plastic hinge means over-tightening is a real possibility, so I suggest loosening and rolling it until you find a happy medium that's tight enough where it won't budge, but it doesn't too hard, which means you risk breaking the clamp. I would also add that while it seems to fit fairly wide phones, I have a medium-thick Galaxy S5 and it was tight. That plus the rubber strap that comes with the mount makes the phone pretty secure.
