Works better than a microwave (if you can wait)!
I did not realize how well this thing would work! I plug it in at my desk at the office and throw my typically 2-3 cup container of soup/casserole/etc in it at 11 and by 11:45a it is perfectly heated through. There is no scalding, cold spots, burnt spots or drying out. You can even touch the bowl without burning yourself.somehow. Granted, its still very hot, it doesn't get burning hot like in a microwave or oven. I'm not sure how this works so well but I prefer it to my personal sized crock pot even since this tends to leave dried out edges since it cooks in the metal insert and not the dish you stored it in. Great product for a surprisingly great price!
