I was afraid of the ANT+ band before I bought it; I've read that this low-power connection protocol is only good for a few meters from the transmitter. I was pleasantly surprised: the distance between this stick adapter and my Wahoo Kickr bike is 12 feet, the heart rate sensor connects to it instantly and stays in contact while I ride Zwift and even when I walk, so the range should be the widest actually be over 12 feet. By the way, I previously tried to connect my heart rate monitor to the Wahoo bracelet via Bluetooth with the dongle in the same place and the connection was very unstable. Worked for a few minutes, then disappeared and reappeared. With ANT+ there are no such problems. The box says 78 RF channels, up to 8 ANT channels, USB 1.1/2.0 support. I am using it with a Windows 10 computer, no special driver installation is required, Windows 10 is natively supported. Everything works great, meets my needs and exceeds my (at first modest) expectations.
