Review on Women's Naturalizer Saddle Riding Boot - Shoes and Athletic for Women by Larry Ton

2w fits 18 inch calf - shoes

This is a great boot. I wear an 11 (sometimes a wide foot, sometimes a regular brand foot) and have thick legs that are prone to swelling. My calf measures just over 18 inches at the widest point. I have reasoned between a 12 2w and 11 2w based on the shoe guide. As a result, I settled on my usual 11 2w. Pros: The leather is soft and smooth and I like that the leather is around the calf rather than huge elastic straps. The heel height is good for those who want a small but not too big heel. The insole feels good. I don't wear them all day yet, but when it comes to comfort, they're just as good as many of my favorite shoes. I love that the ankle is thinned out by the straps and the actual cut. It helps slim my legs and ankles. It also prevents the boot from pinching at the ankle. And they fit my calves! Now I had no intention of wearing them with jeans. I will wear them with leggings and tunic sweaters or a pencil skirt. Not being able to wear them with jeans isn't a bad thing for me. But if you have an 18 inch calf and want to wear thicker pants, this won't work. Cons: They fit my foot very well and I can't wear anything other than a thin sock or stocking. with them but the skin is so soft that I know they get better and better every time I wear them. I'm a little worried about my ankles when they're swollen and my left leg is a little thick. I plan on wearing them for shorter periods first so they can stretch a bit. I have other leather boots and the more you wear them the more familiar they become. Also, the leather isn't as "smooth" as shown in the picture. They are very soft so they wrinkle a little when worn. Also, my feet shake so much, the insole feels nice but not much extra room. Not sure if 12 2w would be better in width. Maybe just longer. Overall I think I'll like them. They seem a bit dressier so I'll wear them on days when I don't wear gowns to work. under the tree for me If they don't meet my expectations I will update the review as I rely heavily on reviews of my purchases. This is also my first Naturalizer shoe purchase. I think I need to make sure I order wide in each style as they seem to be narrower.
