My neighbor had one last year and I decided to copy it this year. You are fantastic! I LOVE these lights. The length is ideal for a small bush. I bought two to put around a large tree I have. I could use the third to be honest. Connecting is very simple and straightforward. The only thing I don't like is the water susceptibility of corks. I had read it before so I knew I had to be careful with them. I started by putting it in a plastic bag, closing it up and sealing the ends with tape. But I had to connect another string of lights to the cord and when I opened the bag there was water in it. So I ended up gluing a plastic bag onto the fork and so far I haven't had any problems. It's been raining here for 24 hours and they're still working fine. So just take precautions when putting them outside and you will be fine. Even in hindsight they are very white. white LED. Not soft glowing white. So if that's too white for you, consider adding some color to them with something else.
