I use back scrapers all the time and decided on one that would last a while. Pros: The massage nubs are good for hard brushing and the bristles on the soapy side are soft. Bad: 1) I bought a long handle model and it doesn't quite fit me; I feel like I have to hold it too close to the end to get center back and that hampers balance and application pressure. Maybe my shoulder is just swollen and I don't have the flexibility I'm used to. 2) When lathering, the grip seems slippery to me; I use castile soap and have never found this to be a problem with wood-handled scrubbers. 3) foam retention. Again, this could be because I use castile soap, but the bristles don't hold a lather like natural bristles (and what exactly is natural?).
