Bought these to hang our thank you notes on for the whole of November. And on Thanksgiving we will have two grateful trees full of gratitude. I could even imagine using them for a year. They are perfect for what I wanted. They're pretty strong. You can easily move branches. The lights are wonderful. I am very happy that I made this purchase. Be aware that they are very white. So white it looks fake. If you want them to look real I would go with a different color or maybe be willing to use tan or brown colored pencils.
