Received these this morning along with 9" Kanto stands. Once I started listening to them I thought they sounded pretty good. Unfortunately that excitement was short lived .These speakers are incredibly fatiguing. , even with the high frequencies reduced. I can't listen to them for more than 30 minutes before my ears start to hurt, even at low to medium volume (60-70dB). I suspect there's something to it to do with the type of tweeter I'm using. Unfortunately, that's not the only problem I've encountered. After leaving them for a couple of hours and going back to listen, the speakers came out with a loud bang and without Sound from sleep. Tried switching inputs which resulted in an even louder bang, this is without a subwoofer. I unplugged the speakers for a few minutes and plugged in again Plugged it in, that fixed the problem, but it's worrying as there's no reason this should be happening. All in all it was a disappointing experience. I was hoping to replace my LS50 with these on my desk to save space, but they absolutely don't compare in terms of sound quality and overall quality.
