I won't say much but I just bought a new 4g iPod Touch and obviously it needed a case. So far so good with that. It doesn't interrupt ports or lenses, the buttons work (press hard, but that's no big deal) and it slides in and out of my bag easily. This case doubles the thickness of this ridiculously small device, which doesn't say much but fits better in my hand. We're talking about the same thickness and height as my bare Palm Tungsten E and even narrower width with a case. The liner sits snugly against the device and offers a nice 3/32 inch rubber padding right on the case. It fits snugly along the front edge - I don't know how that would work with screen protectors, but I don't know. I've still seen a good one, so it will be later. The case has a decent lip on the front which doesn't bother use at all but means the glass doesn't touch the surface it's on if you lay the device face down. When it's on, don't think about the case at all, really. It is part of the device and it only does its job and allows the device to work. The only exception to its invisibility is the small margin afforded by the bottom edge, which has been mentioned elsewhere. Again, that doesn't matter - if it eventually breaks, I suppose it can be cut, and still will it doesn't affect the solid quad **Update - the bottom plastic eventually broke and I folded it back and trimmed it flush with the sides of the port hole to smooth the plastic (seriously, even a sanding board will do), and this is still good. After this repair, the plastic on the side of the port and for the headphones (smaller of the two sides) came loose, but broke off cleanly in the small spot where the rubber enters the corner. It still works fine although I'm considering buying a new one. CandyShell still looks like the best overall solution when you want a snug fit, good protection, and something that slips in and out of your jean pockets cleanly.
