Almost perfect as a car wash sponge
Soft enough not to scratch and rough enough to absorb plenty of foam to loosen dirt and debris from the surface. Could hold a little more liquid but it's enough to get the job done. I wouldn't use it to vacuum up liquids but great for cleaning. Durability is about the same. I mean it's a six dollar sponge for ten bucks. I've washed three cars with one and haven't seen any serious damage to the sponge. I don't think this will stand up to vigorous scrubbing of a rough surface, but then again, what kind of sponge will do?
