THAT DOES NOT WORK. suitable for household fans

When I unpacked the fan and read the instructions, I found that I was not given a cable to connect it to the wall. I looked up what type is accepted and got one. When I plugged it in and used the remote it wasn't used at all. I even changed the battery in the remote to see if that was the problem. Please don't waste your money on this.
