They work well, I've used them to curl my very short thin fine hair and although my hair doesn't stay curled , it falls out. As soon as I take the curlers off (because of my hair, not the curlers) they give me shape and volume where I need it. The only small issue I have is that the foam on the curlers slips too much and sometimes covers the part that needs to be snapped in place and with short fine hair like mine it gets a bit difficult to try and hold the hair on to hold in place to put the mousse back in place but I wouldn't deduct a star for that because they are really great curlers and they haven't tangled and pulled my hair out yet because I need every strand I have, so even with a small error . Still 5 stars for me.
