I bought this Wotozi device as a cheap alternative to a physical cell phone for our child. He likes to look at the light and the windows and we really don't have the space. hanging a cell phone over his bed so I figured it might be fun and worth a try. The child immediately seemed to enjoy seeing the shapes and colors slowly moving around the room and that caught his attention quite well. The product has a very bright light, so we usually put it on the nearest table and it fills the dark space with soft, swirling light. Shapes are sharply focused closer to the lamp and softer the farther away they are. It's a nice subtle addition to this thing, being USB powered so you can use a regular phone charger plug or even charge it straight from a laptop which I usually do (it's very light when just plugged into a laptop plugged in, and I don't use it for that long-term - just before bed, so it works fine) Overall, this is a cool little toy that provides the kid (meaning me) with inexpensive entertainment. While not marketed specifically for children, I would recommend it for this type of application.
