Review on FiiO FH3 Triple Drive HiFi Earphones: High Resolution, Bass Sound, High Fidelity for Smartphones/PC/Tablet by Kip Ruach

At first I thought these in-ear headphones lacked bass. After then researching and trying the generous selection of ear tips that come with the FH3, I found only the ones that fit to create a good seal and comfortable fit. Then came the bass. What I first thought was the lack of bass was inaccurate. When I played music with bass, I was present in it. The headphones just didn't add bass, which many in-ear headphones didn't have. With so many in-ear headphones doing this, I was expecting to hear the same thing, but I'm now finding that these headphones represent the true audio spectrum more accurately than other headphones I've had. When there's snappy bass in a song, it's there, but when the bass isn't that dominant, it's also reflected. The entire sound spectrum is well represented with them. They are also made from an aluminum-magnesium alloy for greater durability than those made from acrylic materials. I would have no hesitation in saying that they rival $300 headphones in sound and quality. I don't think you can find better headphones at this price point. Don't expect to get what you find in the $2,200 Ultimate Ear in-ear headset, because you won't. What you can expect is a set of in-ear headphones that are certainly great value for money, far exceeding what you might expect for their $129 price tag. If you want an accurate idea of what's in your music, get this. If you want booming bass with everything you listen to, look elsewhere.
