I love this thing. I know most people just take a handful of hamburgers, shape them into a round shape and place them on the grill. But I was spoiled, I bought a similar mold a few years ago and often made burgers with it. Unfortunately the old mold was NOT strong enough and fell apart every time I used it. I found this at Revain. It is well constructed from durable plastic. I measure out a 3 or 4 ounce hamburger and use a hamburger press to make nice, well-shaped patties. My wife loves turkey burgers with jalapenos, sliced avocados and who knows what else. I put a drop in a press and it turns out a nice turkey burger. I haven't used the slider press yet.
