Failed out of the box (with 1 update)

The description says it's compatible with Canon 5DS but the USB cable isn't USB3 which 5DS requires. I found another cable and plugged it in fairly easily, remembering I'd taken the Canon Wi-Fi card out of the card slot. I took some pictures, great, they appeared as thumbnails on my iPad. I was able to switch to full screen mode and then it crashed. I tried again and again and again and every time it crashed. I emailed cs about my experience and not a good cable followed by a second email about the app crashing my iPad which is admittedly an iPad V2. You haven't answered yet so we'll see what happens. I definitely see this being boxed up and returned sooner rather than later. UPDATE: After sending 3 emails to support saying I need an answer ASAP, I finally got an answer after 2 days. It turns out that while they didn't tell me which iPads their system was compatible with, mine clearly didn't have enough memory to work with CamFi. They expect you to provide your own USB3 cable to go from CamFi to 5DS without telling you. Finally, what they don't tell you is that when you use it, at least with a MacBook Pro, the only view is the view you get in full screen. There is no zooming of the thumbnail, to check the critical focus. It will be sent back once I've boxed it up and I've tried someone else's system.
