Review on ๐ŸŒ๏ธ WOSPORTS Golf Rangefinder: Laser Distance Finder with Slope, Vibrating Flag-Lock, Speed/Angle Measurement - Upgraded Battery Cover - 800 Yards by Brett Cat

Gives inconsistent results; NOT recommended

I bought this in high hopes of replacing my Nikon hunting range finder with a range finder with flag search and tilt correction. Since the price looked attractive, I settled on the Wosport 1000. I tested the device by firing at stop signs, street lamps and trash cans along and across my street from 20 to 180 meters away. I compared the readings to my Nikon hunting range finder (which I know to be accurate from over 8 years of use and comparing trail markers and GPS readings). Sometimes the Wosport device was read the same way; in other cases it was completely inaccurate -- reading 120 yards, for example, when the actual distance was 170 yards. That was while photographing the rather highly reflective aluminum backs of stop signs and the flat sides of trash cans! That discrepancy would cause endless problems on the golf course - I've had enough of those already. I thought the problem might be that the battery that came with the device was low. I tried brand new Eveready CR2 lithium batteries but the meter still gave erratic readings. This device is not for me. return for a refund. UPDATE: My return and refund was processed with no issues.
