Review on πŸ‘Ÿ ALTRA Women's TIMP 3 Trail Running Shoe - AL0A4VRB by Leslie Harris

Revainrating 2 out of 5

UPDATE: Comfortable, good for hiking and tarmac. Better than other alts.

One month later I would like to revise my original rating. The shoes are just too long. If you reduce the size by half, the arch will be wrong. Also, this is the only pair of shoes that causes knee pain after a month, which I have never had before. Not sure if it's built on a different last or if the problem is caused by the length. It's really hard to find good zero fall shoes. Original post: Really like these altra shoes after trying a few different styles. I started with intuition which they don't do anymore. They feel great to wear. Just a little long. I'm always between 9.5 and 10, I usually get 10 in altra but they seem to be a bit longer. May need 9.5. But the landing on the arch is perfect. Nice wide toe box, unlike some other Altra models which tend to deviate from the "foot" shape. An Altra rep said the deployment would be good for me since the guides only turn on "on demand", but that's not true. I need neutral shoes and these are really neutral. Well done altra, step up your other wide toe styles now!
