These underpants are wonderful! They are comfortably 'snug', not too tight, but not loose either. They conform to my shape so the contours are smooth under clothing. They wash fine & dry quickly; it seems like they'll last a long time. I bought 5 at first, then after a couple months I bought 10 more to switch out all my older (not this brand) underwear. The misleading description is regarding the elastic at the waist. The picture shows a band of about 2" wide around the waist. But the elastic inside the band is only maybe 1/4 of that width. Nevertheless, it's adequate for the purpose of keeping the underwear up.
