I bought a size 32-38 and removed 3 inches from the belt after unbuckling it. it fits perfectly and looks good. To trim you will need scissors and a lighter. Cut to size, heat the cut end with a lighter to avoid wear (I advise you do this outdoors even if the fumes were minimal), reinsert into the buckle and lock. For a good casual yet sophisticated belt to wear with jeans and casual wear, you can't beat it!
