I love these headphones for working out in the gym. I have rather picky ears and these work wonders, especially for the money - the sound quality is excellent. The good thing is that the sound quality is excellent. Bass is a bit heavy but I use Wavelet (Android) which customizes the EQ for each of my devices - fits great, with different size options they really stay in place no matter what you're doing. My girlfriend has a set and does circus acrobatics (hoops, straps, pole) and loves the fact that they stay in place - the noise isolation is very good. I have a noise-cancelling Sony that honestly does about the same job - super waterproof - I wake up early and like listening to music in the shower but don't want to wake up the whole house. I accidentally left them in my gym shorts when they went in the wash - and they survived (although they acted weird for a few days until I left them in the sun). - Battery life is decent - around 7 hours or so - Controls are easy to use, pause, play, skip, reply (no volume control though but I agree) home. Not for business calls. The bass can be overly heavy right away and doesn't work with the Anker app, so there's no native way to play with the EQ. This can be fixed with a third party app like Wavelet. - the little plastic pieces that help keep it in your ear will stretch after a while and eventually loosen. I had to glue mine in place
