Review on High-Performance PowerPress Digital Sublimation Heat Press Machine for T Shirts, 15x15 Inch, Black: Industrial-Quality by Michelle Langley

The best we've tried!

We have purchased several different heat presses in the under $500 category. This has by far the most uniform top plate temperatures tested with a laser. The silicone on the bed has nice rounded corners that t-shirts won't stick to, yes that's really important when you're doing a lot of volume! In the last 3 months, this shirt has successfully wrung over 2500 t-shirts with no problems. One issue we had was getting the pressure right, as the user only has one knob to turn and there isn't a really good way to set "60psi". Our Learning Curve and Solution: #1 Finding the grip "locks" and maintains pressure on the shirt. If you have to hold it, you're doing it wrong. Adjust the button on the upper back. #2 Set it in the "hardest" spot so the operator can push down on the handle to lock it in place. This is the maximum pressure and it's good! #3 By releasing it FAST! It'll be much better for a "quick shot" than grabbing it and trying to pick it up. The quickness helps the grip rise and release the shirt from the press. We found that WE had to work with high volumes. (This is OUR setup based on the shirts and transfers we use.) #1 Press to maximum pressure. #2 Teflon sheets only if transferred to both sides of the shirt. (Use foil between the shirt and the silicone backing to keep your first print from sticking. Remember to let the first transfer cool completely before doing the second.) #3 Lots of power if you have 3 of these on the same one 15A circuit have burn! lol #4 Sturdy desk and workstation. We work with 2x 8ft tables. Table #1 shirt press(es) with t-shirt stack and transfers for easy access. Table #2 directly behind the operator(s) for chilling, folding and packaging.
