If you have a Polycom EXPANDABLE phone like the Polycom SoundStation2 expandable conference phone (2200-16200-001), these are the 2 extra microphones that go to the extreme ends of the long table . Please make sure you have the Polycom Extensible Module before ordering. Make sure you have a Polycom before ordering these - these are not typical tape mics or anything. They work great. I can walk around our long table in the conference room and the person on the other end won't notice that I'm moving. During a conversation someone put paper on one of these microphones. That made the tone weird for the person on the other end of the line saying that. When she removed the paper from the mic, the sound was great again. So don't put anything on these microphones. The mute button on these mics mutes ALL mics. The green light on the Polycom and the other microphone turns red to indicate that the Polycom microphone is muted. Anyone can mute and unmute the sound by pressing the mute button on either the microphone or the central triangular unit.
