Everything is fine after installation. The power LED is a useful feature. However, when mounted to the side notch of a standard surface mount weatherproof plastic T-box, you will find that it is too thick to allow flush mounting of the box. I see this as an oversight in Intermatic's design. You should consider how this thing works with the types of junction boxes it plugs into. 10 gauge lines are a double edged sword. Yes, that might seem like an impressive feature, but they take up extra space in the junction box, which can cause overfill issues. It depends on the concrete installation.
