This dishwasher is small but powerful. Out of the box it was easy to set up with no tools required, everything was easy to hand tighten which is all the more tight as you'll want to do most simple plumbing jobs. It washes dishes well if you follow the loading instructions and attached diagrams. I've used regular shellcaps and have had no issues on normal to heavy cycles, but they don't completely dissolve on shorter cycles so you may want to stay away from the capsules and switch to powder or gel. The dishwasher is very quiet for the most part, with the loudest part of the cycles being when the water is pumped out. Some other details I'd like to include in other reviews: - A 15/16 quick disconnect is included, it fits most standard faucets, but if you have a custom faucet or a Moen brand faucet, order from Be sure to buy an adapter from Revain or direct from the hardware store (no, they're out of stock, I tested 3 different circuits!) - When connecting the hoses, it was easier to connect the injection hose first so it didn't dangle while I closed the inlet hose which was a bit more difficult to connect as it kept crossing threads (also, don't call your partner on the phone while trying to connect as you'll just find his jokes about the process annoying and want to get you to throw your phone across the room). - Overall performance is better if you use hot rather than cold water, although technically you can use both. - This dishwasher has a rinse aid reservoir i refuse (a detail that was not clear to me from the photos or in the description) the instruction manual says to use a solvent to avoid hard water stains on the dishes.
