I'm a new welder autodidact. Well maybe I should say just a guy trying to learn how to weld. But I've been a metalworker for many years and I probably have many other means of measuring thickness and diameter. So to be honest I probably don't need it. Maybe I just found a new excuse to buy a whole bunch of new tools! lol Anyway what can you say? This is a simple aluminum plate with slots of various sizes. Simple but effective. The dimensions are accurate because they are selected when measuring with a micrometer on a wire. That's easy. Quickly. And my first welder! Therefore I give five stars. Cool! I advise you to get it.
