Tired of sugar and salt clumping in containers? I also. I prefer to use seasoned salt than regular table salt. The problem is that the seasoned salt cakes bake quickly and can no longer be dosed. Much worse than ordinary table salt, baking. The same with sugar. It sticks together and sticks together in a snap. Add one if those desiccant packs keep the salt and sugar from caking. I don't know how long the desiccant is effective, but this product is said to turn pink after saturation and can then be dehydrated for reuse. The pouch I put in my spiced salt shaker a few months ago is still blue and my salt flows freely. I'm giving this item four stars because it hasn't broken yet, but I don't know when it will break and if I can actually reuse it. I would happily buy this item again and can recommend it unreservedly
