LOVE the look of this product but was concerned when I read some of the other negative reviews. Thought I could always return it if needed but I will NOT be returning this. It's as beautiful as it is functional. If you received one that broke for any reason, return it and get a new one. It's really beautiful, functional and looks like a work of art on a countertop. It is difficult to clean because the open part is on the small side. You'll need a small, long-handled brush, but let's face it. How often do you clean your oil jar? Wipe the outside and viola, it's clean.
