Dangerous, a company in China can access your data

I saw in a review on the App Store that this product might be trying to send your files to a company in China. My photos took a long time to load, which bothered me after reading it, so I turned off cellular and Wi-Fi and 10,000 photos loaded almost instantly. It seems that the only thing slowing down the download was that they were also being sent over the internet. As this product is only intended to be downloaded directly from the phone to a flash drive, it should not be able to access my internet. This is not a safe product in my opinion and if I had seen the App Store review sooner I would not have bought it
