Review on JOILCAN Carbon Professional Monopod Carrying by Steve Hauck

Quality tripod for various shooting conditions

I was very pleased to purchase this tripod as not only is it a carbon fiber tripod at a reasonable price but it also offers many different settings for a variety of shooting conditions. not disappointed. The only (very minor) issue I had was that when I first unboxed it I was a bit confused as the box said it was aluminum but based on its strength I suspected it was just the wrong box . I contacted the seller and it turned out that they were sent to the warehouse in the wrong packaging and therefore did not have time to fix this error. They indicated that the packaging would be fixed in the future. Some of the great things about this tripod are the many configurations it can be converted into: tripod, monopod, upside down (the main tube is upside down and the camera can be mounted on the underside of the tripod for unexpected new perspectives! ) . Additionally, the height of this tripod is highly adjustable as it comes with an extra short tube riser that can be added to the riser to lengthen the tripod or replaced entirely with the bottom of the tripod. Even without the extra short middle section, the fully extended tripod is a lot taller than me, so ideal for taller users. The tripod head is interchangeable, but the original head is actually very good. It can smoothly pan panoramas with angle markers for tracking. It also has an alignment bubble to ensure your camera is level. The only potential problem are the handles, which can sometimes become tangled if left unattended. However, there is a latch on the mounting plate to keep your camera from falling. Speaking of drop, this is probably one of the most durable tripods I've ever owned: there are spikes on the legs to improve grip, but the tripod material also just feels sturdy. I got up and shook the tripod a bit just to see if it tilted or toppled, but it didn't fall. The legs have a strong twist lock so it won't bend even if you try to put some weight on the tripod. Overall this is a really great tripod - quality and versatility that should do all your photography needs.
