This kit fits the Ecotric ebike drop outs without spreading or compressing the forks at all. My Ecotric has the steel rigid forks. You can stack some 1/4 washers if you don't have a saw.I made 2 custom torque arms from stainless steel that will actually work. The one bolts to the brake caliper mount screws.The rim is thick aluminum and one inch wider then the stock Ecotric wheel. Makes the front tire look bigger when in fact it is a bit smaller in diameter to compensate for the increase in width. You will need a 70mm rim liner.The controller is mounted in the top frame bar bag and I added my own thumb throttle on the left side as this is 2 wheel drive now.Electronically and mechanically everything works great. I can't wait for my original rear wheel motor to go. So this way I will get their rear wheel kit. Or maybe I won't wait and just buy another fat tire bike and put the old wheel on that and sell it.
