Decent unit. Suitable for video projectors

Received and set up the device last night. It's easy enough to connect to the phone after a few tries. I wasn't able to use the remote as I didn't have batteries handy and they aren't included (which is always a nice bonus). I'm a bit frustrated that I spent half the cost of the projector on an HDMI adapter cable so I could watch my paid Netflix and Hulu accounts and it doesn't work. The company's reviews and Q&A say that due to the limitations of these streaming platforms, you can't stream shows from these apps over Wi-Fi, but you can if your phone is connected directly. I tried both iPad and iPhone X. . At this point I spent $40 on a cable and now I have to buy a fire stick to see anything. I read the device's company description of how quiet it is, and it shows him next to a sleeping baby. I found the unit's fan to be quite noisy, but this is the first projector I've ever owned, so maybe it's quiet compared to other units? Overall it seems easy to use and easy to set up. I look forward to seeing something with him. To update! I figured out how to use the HDMI cable. I thought you still use the screen mirroring option but you choose HDMI and it works with streaming platforms! Please disregard my nonsense. Now I like to watch series :)
