Review on Nintendo Switch OLED Game Console 64 GB, Neon Blue/Neon Red by Mateusz Biakowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent product, the best quality.

Great console ate. Because I will not be listing the benefits that are common to all versions (such games or functionality, for example), I will only be going over the changes that have been made since the prior Switch revisions. Screen: I had my doubts about whether or not it was worthwhile to overpay for the OLED version; nonetheless, it was most definitely worth it. In the past, there existed a Switch that was of the first revision, and the screens on both of these versions are radically different from one another in every possible way. The OLED version has a significantly more pleasant appearance and texture to the touch thanks to a different type of matrix and a modest expansion in screen size. Appearance: A new design for the docking station. When inserting the console in the dock, it is nearly impossible to scratch the screen because the spacing between the walls of the dock has been increased. This was a problem with the older version of the Switch, at least the first edition. The leg that sits behind the console has, at long last, been made to be more comfortable (over the entirety of the width of the case), and it has ceased to be a piece of plastic that serves no use, as it was in previous iterations. Bezels around the screen were slimmed down, which resulted in an aesthetic improvement. Sound: The sound coming from the speakers is now more thick and clear, and the overall sound quality of the console is noticeably improved over the previous iteration. There is sufficient room in the volume reserve. Autonomy: I am unable to compare the first and second iterations of the Switch, but in comparison to the first iteration, the OLED display of the Switch lasts between two and three hours longer (depending on the game), which is really important for a portable console. Because of this, the Nintendo Switch is currently (and has been for more than 5 years) the greatest true portable console available on the market (with all due respect, the gigantic Steam Deck simply cannot be termed portable), and there are no contenders for the foreseeable future. As for the iron part, of course, the console is already somewhat out of date, so taking the Switch only to go through ports that are much scaled back in terms of visuals from "large consoles" is not the best option. On the other hand, this deficit is totally balanced out by outstanding Nintendo exclusives, of which there are more than enough each year. The console might very well serve as the primary and only device for playing games (of course, this would depend on personal tastes about games), but the alternative that seems to make the most sense to me is to get it in addition to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or personal computer that is already in use.

Pros
  • Screen autonomy Portability Accessibility for use in the harbor Exclusives Increasing storage capacity with microSD cards
Cons
  • eShop will not function on the territory of the 2022 (this may be resolved by changing the console's area and restocking the wallet with payment cards; there are sufficient vendors of these cards for all of the major territories). Because cartridges may also be purchased, I don't see any reason why purchasing games would be problematic.

I bought it as a stub for frequent flights, I am pleased with the dimensions, I almost always keep it in my backpack.
