I like this size. We're pepper freaks and I'm tired of filling smaller containers every few days. These big ones aren't like the ones that look big on the outside, but they do fit in a couple of tablespoons of peppercorns. The mechanism is made of ceramic and will therefore last a long time. They're beautiful, easy to clean, and easy to see when they need topping up. The top part, which is the pivoting part, is pretty easy to use - I have severe arthritis and I'm pretty comfortable with it. If I had a minus it would be that the finest grind is just too big for my liking. Not huge, just not very good. Be careful not to drop it - we lost the last one when we dropped it off the table and the top broke off.
