Review on Durable 24-Inch One Touch DEWALT DWST24082 Toolbox by Demetrius Young

Not perfect, but damn good

I've had this tool box for about half a year now and I'm very happy with it. I work on a ranch and he just sits in the back of a flatbed 24/7 through dusty roads, hot sun, rain and lately snow. Very impressed with the water, the resistance never opened it to find water in it and it was raining quite heavily. The crate is strong enough to be used as a step when you're not jumping on it, and you weigh less, well, 300 pounds I think. However, it is anything but indestructible. If you've got it loaded with tools and it falls off your pickup at over 20 mph, or if you drop it over 6 feet, I'm sure it's probably toast. The reason I gave it 3 stars and not 4 is because the one I received was slightly warped. You can't tell, but the lid doesn't quite match the rest. This means that when closing the lid, you have to apply a slight lateral pressure to the lid for the latch to engage. Not that bad, since it's still lockable and weatherproof, but annoying because one of the advantages is "one-handed operation". Also, the inner tray doesn't snap into place, you need to press lightly on the front of the box for the pins to align. If those two things were fixed and the box was built heavier I would be willing to pay more and give it 5 stars. But honestly, for $25 you really can't beat this box, even if you really do feel like a salesman, since it's made in China.

Pros

Cons
