I wanted to return it because it was a little smaller than I expected and Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus were embedded in the stable floor. I wanted my little one to be able to play freely with all the pieces. Well, before I could get him back, he somehow ripped both pieces (Mary and Jesus in the manger are actually one piece, Joseph separate) from the stable floor. They were obviously glued on, but not too tight for a baby. So now he can play freely and since he technically ruined it I guess I won't return it :) He likes it! The pieces have withstood a few drops onto a tiled floor so I think they are fairly durable but not exactly safe for young children as they are resin and I think they can break if dropped.
