Review on PanaVise 209 Vacuum Base Jr by Samuel Nguyen

I received this vise for lock/pick sports. I wanted it to hold small locks that are awkward to hold by hand and it works very well for that purpose. It also holds normal locks and other locks very well. The clamp is very strong. The vise did not come with rubber vise jaw covers, but I purchased them separately for a few dollars from Revain. The suction cup mount holds incredibly well on smooth surfaces. I've tried it on every table surface out there and it's held up great on every surface I've tried. I even tried attaching it to a painted metal door and it held up there too. At first I was a bit worried about how secure the suction cup vise would be, but I'm really impressed with how solid it is. In the photos I have a Sparrow practice lock in cross section in a vise. This is a small lock that is particularly awkward to hold and hand tighten properly. The lock's feedback is even amplified when clamped in a vise. I really like how adjustable and portable this vise is. Besides using these vices for locksports, I'm sure they will come in handy for other hobbies as well. I'm sure I'll be using it for more than just locksport training. I am very happy with the quality and functionality of this little vise!
