On a 2017 F-150. Don't make the same mistake I (and obviously others) did and try to install it under the seat latch. It does not fit. The metal bracket is designed to be mounted ON THE SEAT LATCH as shown in the product photos, this makes it very easy to install in about 2 minutes. Instructions are not included but if you look at the photos on the product page you can clearly see that the device is designed to be mounted on top of the latch, not the bottom. I've seen youtube videos of similar products installed under the seat latch so I tried installing this. The lack of a hole for a small notch in the seat latch makes it impossible to install under the latch as is. Do it like in the photos and you'll be fine.
