The straps are a little thinner than I expected and the metal handles are a little smooth and rough around the edges. Overall they look a bit cheap. I've had the ends of the clip pop out of the track twice when tightening the strap so I'm not sure these straps can hold the face value. My biggest gripe with these straps is the exceptionally long end of the ratchet strap. I haven't measured but probably around 4 feet. The presence of a 4ft ratchet end strap makes it difficult to secure a large amount of cargo, especially wheels and valuable equipment. In use I have found that the 4 foot length at the end of the ratchet places the ratchet handle directly on the item I am trying to secure meaning I must then secure the item to avoid damage. This can be avoided on straps where the end of the ratchet is 1 foot or less.
