I bought this cushion for my 6yo son to use at school. He has balance and coordination problems as well as low muscle tone and weak core strength. He has only used it for a week, and I have already noticed a big improvement! His focus is better in class and he doesn't fall out of his chair any more. His frustration has also decreased and his ability to complete his work in a timely, tear-free manner has improved. I was so encouraged by his improvement, that I took the cushion home after school for a couple days to see if it would help at the dinner table. With the cushion, he used his silverware for the whole meal and made a very minimal mess, even though we served some very difficult meals for him (Ramen noodle soup once, and rice another time.). I very, VERY highly recommend this cushion for anyone with attention, coordination, balance, or other special needs!
